AQUASUR, the most important aquaculture meeting in the southern hemisphere, opened the call for accredited doctoral students to apply with their respective theses on topics related to the discipline, which must be in their final cycle, with the qualifying exam taken and the project approved.

In this context, the call for participation in the AQUASUR International Scientific Congress has extended its deadline for applications and will be open until January 29, 2024. The selected projects must be presented before a jury, composed of members of the industry and academia, in pitch format, where students will have five minutes for the presentation and five minutes to resolve doubts.

The International Scientific Congress AQUASUR 2024 is organized by the Faculty of Veterinary and Livestock Sciences (Favet) of the University of Chile and the World Organization for Animal Health Collaborating Center CASA (Center for Antimicrobial Stewardship in Aquaculture). It will be held on March 21, during the last day of the AQUASUR Fair, whose exhibition begins on the 19th.
