Having become one of the most important cultural centers in South America and the southernmost international venue in the world, the Teatro del Lago will play a key role in the next edition of AQUASUR 2024.

The venue, inaugurated on November 6, 2010 and located on the shore of Lake Llanquihue, will be the epicenter of an exclusive day of networking and connection called “AQUASUR Night”, an event linked to the most important aquaculture fair in the southern hemisphere, to be held at the Teatro del Lago, in Frutillar, on Wednesday, March 20, at 8:00 pm.

The event, one of the novelties of this version, is designed as a great evening to bring together the leaders and visionaries of the aquaculture sector in a relaxed and relaxed atmosphere. The event will be hosted by science popularizer Gabriel León and is sponsored by Salmofood and Remap. It also has the collaboration of the Salmon Council, SalmonChile, the Association of Salmon Producers of Magallanes and AmiChile.

“The Teatro del Lago is a world-class stage, where culture and nature come together in a magnificent way. In our AQUASUR Night we will have many surprises and the pleasure of having the presence of the Undersecretary of the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Fisheries, Even Tronstad Sagebakken, who will give us words of welcome. Another relevant aspect is the presence of more than 20 countries,” says Paula Miranda, manager of AQUASUR.

“For this international networking event we want to propose spaces for conversation and rapprochement in human unity for our exhibitors and for all representatives of sectoral authorities, guilds, ambassadors and aquaculture companies present at the activity. Aquaculture will unite us at the Teatro del Lago this March 20, in an activity that is called to feed the world between now and 2030 as part of the blue transformation, a concept that is key to the future of the industry”, adds Miranda.

For Gonzalo Larenas, executive director of the Teatro del Lago Foundation, the choice of the venue enhances the attributes of the space.

“I wish to express my gratitude to Aquasur for selecting Teatro del Lago as the venue for their event. This collaboration underscores the relevance of the theater as a versatile and emblematic space, not only in the context of providing meaningful and unforgettable artistic experiences, but also as a unique environment for the confluence of diverse industries within our country,” Larenas says.
“The organization of events of this nature not only fosters the flourishing of culture, but also brings with it a double added value: an exceptional scenic environment along with support and significant contribution to society as a whole,” adds the executive.

On the other hand, a determining aspect is related to the fact that, by holding an event at the Teatro del Lago, the Foundation is being supported, which is ultimately responsible for contributing to the development of local culture.

The foundation is open to this type of events, which not only leave resources, but also allow the diffusion of the space and a company-culture link, which is necessary for the whole community”, says Paula Miranda, manager of AQUASUR.

The “AQUASUR Night” is organized by Fisa, part of the GL events group in the context of the Fair and the international congress, an instance that brings together national and international aquaculture in one place in the Southern South zone of Chile, highlighting the importance of the activity.
