This year, Southern Tech reaches a significant milestone with the launch of the “Ocean Buoy ST”, a buoy meticulously designed and manufactured in Chile, with integrated Canadian technology. Developed specifically to meet the demands of the salmon industry, this buoy provides accurate measurements of vital parameters in farming areas, even under extreme environmental conditions. Its versatility not only meets the current demands of the salmon industry, but also complies rigorously with current environmental regulations. In addition to the buoy, we provide comprehensive online monitoring services for critical parameters such as CO2, pH, ODO, among others. These systems are customizable according to the specific needs of each client, addressing aspects such as autonomy, data frequency and number of measurement points. This initiative reflects our continued commitment to excellence in solutions that positively impact the aquaculture industry and promote sustainable technological progress in the southern region of Chile. During AquaSur 2024, we invite visitors to explore our booth and get an up-close look at our monitoring solutions along with state-of-the-art instrumentation. Southern Tech is proud to be an integral part of the technological evolution that drives responsible aquaculture growth.
