After a successful Aquasur Tech 2023, the first workshop and seminar on technologies for the sustainability of the aquaculture industry held in Punta Arenas, the organization informed that the Aquasur Dinner “Gastronomic Experience: connecting the sea from aquaculture” will be held, which will bring together the main exponents and authorities of the industry with entrepreneurs of small-scale aquaculture (APE). The experience will be a meeting point for the aquaculture sector, seeking to generate networking opportunities between companies, authorities, entrepreneurs and suppliers, fostering long-term links that promote joint learning and growth. The event, which will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the Hotel Enjoy in Puerto Varas, is expected to bring together more than 400 leaders in the industry, with the aim of highlighting and promoting the relevance of aquaculture for the country. The event, organized with the collaboration of the Cocina Mar Foundation, consists of five gastronomic samples with aquaculture products, signature cuisine, to offer culinary experiences using sea products cultivated by local fish farmers. Fisa’s assistant general manager, Rodrigo Lobo, emphasized that “for us as Aquasur it is of utmost importance to keep the aquaculture sector connected. That is why we organized this event, where we will bring together the main exponents of the aquaculture ecosystem to exchange experiences, strengthen ties, and present the guidelines for our next activities, including Aquasur 2024, which we will hold in Puerto Montt, by the sea”. Likewise, the manager of Aquasur, Paula Miranda, invited all the representatives of the aquaculture world to participate in this great meeting. “We want everyone to be part of it, to make known the importance of collaborative work and contact networks that, in every sense, strengthen the Chilean aquaculture world”.
