The Chilean delegation, led by Endeavor and with the participation of Paula Miranda representing Aquasur, will be present at Aquaculture UK 2024, which will take place on 14 and 15 May in Aviemore. The event will be the meeting point for different national and international companies, as well as important authorities and professionals from the sector. The purpose of this visit is to promote the next editions of Aquasur Tech 2025 and Aquasur 2026, as well as to participate in various industry meetings.
Paula Miranda, manager of Aquasur, highlighted the importance of this visit, promoted by Prochile and the UK embassy, and its participation in the exhibition. “Being part of this event together with important players in the sector is an excellent opportunity to interact with leading companies and professionals, and to publicise the next versions of Aquasur Tech in 2025, to be held in the Magallanes region, and Aquasur 2026, which will take place in Puerto Montt,” said Miranda.
At the exhibition, Aquasur will be at the stand called “Patagonia Aquatech Cluster”, which will also feature prominent companies and startups in the sector, such as AdClean, Avenire by KURA, Bioelements, Lythium, QHielo, Bioled, Chucaotech, Innovex, Keepex, Kran, Lago Sofía, some of which were exhibitors at the last edition of Aquasur last March.
The trip will include other official activities such as the Aquculuture Awards UK, on Wednesday 15 May, where the Chilean startup Chucao Tech is nominated in the Best New Start Up category and was an exhibitor at the last version of Aquasur. In addition, the Scottish government organised a reception for the Chilean delegation on Friday 17 May, with different executives and local authorities, which will be held at Edinburgh Castle, which will be the last official activity of the trip.
Aquasur Tech 2025 will take place from 26-27 May in Punta Arenas and will be a key event for the industry in the Magallanes region. On the other hand, Aquasur 2026 is scheduled for 24-27 March in Puerto Montt and hopes to once again be the most important aquaculture exhibition in the southern hemisphere.
“We are very excited about future projects, after the good results of the first edition of Aquasur Tech and the last historic version of Aquasur 2024. We are confident that these upcoming projects will be a success and will continue to contribute to the development and growth of the aquaculture industry and blue transformation,” Miranda concluded.
