Founded in 2018 and backed by Nacre Capital, Aquaticode has grown from a startup to a recognized leader in AI for aquaculture, marking a significant milestone in 2022 by raising a USD 6 million Series A. This achievement reflects our transition to a key player in the field. SORTpro is more than an individual product. It is a comprehensive AI platform that has begun with gender sorting and now includes classification for maturation and deformities. We are excited to announce future expansions of SORTpro’s capabilities to include advanced health diagnostics and an additional seven features related to fish performance by the end of this year. This integrated approach offers a complete solution to the complex needs of the salmon farming industry. Moreover, SORTpro contributes substantially to production control, enabling precise monitoring and management of salmon populations. This capability allows producers to optimize operations, use resources more efficiently, and achieve higher yields, which are crucial in an industry where production efficiency is directly linked to profitability.
