The experience acquired in the aquaculture field makes SITA a reference company in this sector, with the ability to offer, among other things, customized equipment and also dimensioning and feasibility studies for customized products. All production is entirely made in Italy, between Genoa and Bologna. Our range of UV sterilizers is able to satisfy all flow rate requirements (standard from 5 l/m to 4,000 m3/h) and construction requirements. The most common applications for S.I.T.A. are primary water treatment, swimming pool disinfection, seawater applications, hot water, aquaculture, systems for the food and beverage industry, units for pharmaceutical applications, wastewater with closed chambers and ozone reduction. SITA uses low-pressure, amalgam and medium-pressure lamps. Production The production of SITA UV systems is completely “made in Italy”. At our facility in Genoa, we size and produce our systems to high quality standards. The company’s quality has long been certified since 1999 with ISO 9001 certification. Quality, strict control of materials and an advanced technical department give us the possibility to be market leader with very good products. SITA’s carpentry shop is equipped with all the latest stainless steel working tools, as well as HDPE material. Our welding process is certified. Welding can be automatic or manual depending on the working phase. Also important is the internal process of passivation and pickling of the stainless steel, fundamental to guarantee a long life of our installations. Finally, the polishing process, in addition to giving the product its final appearance, improves its quality and makes it suitable for many applications. Control panels are a fundamental part of UV units. With ever more efficient panels and ever-increasing demands, they must be able to not only turn on the lamps, but also adjust their power according to the water flow or UVC dosage required.
